Visa Cash & Check Card
(Debit Card)
Your Visa Cash & Check Card allows you 24-hour access to your checking account at any location Visa is accepted, or at any ATM or Point of Sale (POS) location displaying the STAR, PLUS or EXPLORE logo. Use your Visa Cash & Check Card to make purchases, withdraw cash, or do account inquiries. You can even transfer money between your checking and savings accounts. All purchases made with the Visa Cash and Check Card are deducted directly from your checking account. There is no monthly fee or transaction charge associated with the Visa Cash and Check Card.
Call-24
Call-24 is a free service that allows you to perform common financial transactions without actually visiting a Credit Union location. Instead, access to your accounts is only a phone call away, any time of day or night. With Call-24 you can:

Verify current savings, checking, and loan balances.

Transfer funds between accounts.

Establish whether or not a check has cleared your account.

Confirm the date and amount of your most recent direct deposit or payroll deduction.
To access Call-24, in the local Alameda calling area, call 864-4228. Outside the (510) area code, call 1-800-869-9469.
Online Banking and Bill Pay
Online Banking is a free service that allows you to do the same type of transactions you can do through Call-24, and more. In addition to the transactions listed under Call-24, you can view and print copies of paid checks, reorder checks and save $1.00 on your order, and obtain copies of your statements if you have enrolled in eStatements. With Bill Pay, you can pay your bills from the comfort of your home or office 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. No need to write those checks, lick those envelopes, drive to the post office, stand in line and purchase those stamps. Think of the time and money you will save with Bill Pay. This service is free of charge as long as you pay at least 2 bills per month through the service. In months where you do not pay 2 bills, there is a $5.00 service charge.
eStatements
Now you can receive your monthly and quarterly statements through eStatements. Simply click on the eStatement icon on our home page or within online banking and register. Once you are registered you will receive an email notice each month when you statement is ready for viewing. Simply login and view and/or print your statement. Once you have registered for eStatements, the system will save and store your last 12 statements received through eStatements. This is another FREE service provided by Alameda Credit Union.
Money Orders
If you need a money order for any reason, ACU can help. Money orders may be purchased at the credit union in amounts up to $1,500.
Cashier's Checks
Sometimes you need a cashier's check when paying for that special purchase such as a house or an investment. Cashier's checks are available at the credit union, and can be purchased with funds in one of your ACU accounts.
Wire Transfers
Need to send money to an account at another financial institution? A wire transfer may be the answer. It's fast and convenient.
Direct Deposit
In a day already jammed with work, kids and traffic, the last thing you have time for is depositing your paycheck. That's why ACU offers a free direct deposit service for checks that are issued on a recurring basis (such as payroll, social security, pension, etc.).

Payroll Deduction
It's hard enough remembering to buy stamps, let alone mail your loan payments on time. But you can avoid the hassles of postage and late payments by using ACU's free payroll deduction service.
